The red city… Marrakesh

Marrakech (original name in Berber tamurt n Akkuc, Land of God in Arabic, مراكش Marrākuš, Mrrākeš colloquially pronounced, in Old Castilian: Morocco, Marrakech written in French spelling) is one of the most important cities of Morocco, has 1,545,541 inhabitants and is south of the country, at the foot of the Atlas, at 466 meters tall. It has numerous world heritage monuments, which make it the main tourist attraction país.Es next to Meknes, Fez and Rabat, one of the four imperial cities of Morocco. It was founded by the Almoravids in 1062 and was the capital of the Islamic empire. The city has the nation’s largest traditional market (suq) and one of the busiest squares in Africa and the world, Djemaa el Fna.4 The square acrobats are cited, storytellers, water sellers, dancers and musicians. At night, the square is filled with food stalls, becoming a huge open-air restaurant.
